Use Species Names to access County Record Maps
We are now linked to the Western U.S. Odonata Range Maps. They were produced by David Nunnallee from records compiled by Dennis Paulson.
The map links here are for Oregon species only. To view maps that show county records
for all Odonata species recorded from the contiguous western United States see: http://www.ups.edu/biology/museum/westernOD.html
These maps are by no means complete, data will be added as it becomes available.
The map data represents collecting records, sometimes from only one or a few adult
specimens, and may not reflect the true breeding range of a species.
Future plans include dot maps of specific sites.
New county records from the 2001 field season are in RED.
New county records acquired during 2001 from collections, field notes and the literature
are in BLUE.
New county records that are sight records only are in GREEN.
Data was provided by: Eric Coombs, Jeff Dillon, John Davis, Steve Gordon, Paul Hammond,
Molly Hukari, Jim Johnson, Cary Kerst, Terry Morse, Dave Nunnallee, Dennis Paulson and
Steve Valley - Data was also obtained from the Oregon State University and Oregon Dept. of
Agriculture Collections which Eric Coombs, Jim Johnson and Steve Valley are still working
on. - Direct comments to: Steve Valley svalley2@comcast.net
